Thrifty Finds

The boys and I are spending the weekend at my grandparent's house, which means we are having an amazing time.  We love the time we spend there!  After yesterday's lengthy post, I thought I should spare everyone today and just post some pictures of my latest finds.

These coasters were part of my gift for the exchange at crafternoon, but I almost kept them for myself!

This cute little Fire King mug was the other half of my crafternoon gift.

I thought this little dish was really sweet and I love the red and light blue combination, not to mention it was only 25 cents!

These were recent Goodwill finds.  The little gal on the left is a napkin ring or at least that's what I think she is supposed to be.  The pig is a bank.

The cutest Thanksgiving decorations for 10 cents each?!  Yes please!

Isn't this little guy the best?!  His stuffing is a little bunched up in places and his arm is a bit floppy, but I think he's just perfect!  In case you can't tell from the photo, he's embroidered.  Grandma, if you read this, we need to make him some friends!!

I really have a thing for vintage children's books and these three were definitely my favorite of all my recent finds!

I love Richard Scarry!  I had this book as a child, which likely means it's in my attic, but it's not a bad idea to have a spare.  The children in the Lovely Day book are so adorable!

I've seen new copies of this book, but this one is from 1969.  This book was originally published in the 1940s and has great illustrations.

You can rarely go wrong with vintage Little Golden Books!

I really should scan some pages from some of my old books sometimes.  They are some of the cutest pictures you will ever see!  I hope everyone is having a great weekend!
