Sundays Are For Adventures

Don works retail hours, so there have been a lot of times when we didn't get any days off together.  At his current job, though, he's been lucky to almost always have Sundays off.  That's our one day as a family and although we sometimes spend it at home not doing much of anything, we usually like to make it count.  This Sunday we took a drive and ended up in Biglersville, PA, a town with a lot of orchards and farms.  We stopped at a few markets to buy pumpkins, apples, and yummy treats like apple cider donuts, homemade caramels, and pumpkin pie caramel corn.  We ate lunch in Gettysburg and walked around town a bit, hanging out mostly on the train tracks.  Oscar is pretty obsessed with trains right now.  And on the way home, we stopped at Mister Ed's Elephant Museum, a first for the boys.  The weather was lovely and we had a pretty amazing day!
