Bookworm

We are a house full of book lovers and it's no secret that vintage children's books are among my favorite things to collect and read to my boys.  I actually have pretty much all of the books from my childhood and quite a few that belonged to my mom or other family members.  I tend to look for cute ones anytime I go to a thrift or antique shop and am especially partial to Rand McNally Elf books.  They're typically pretty adorable from cover to cover and I seem to have a lot of luck finding them for less than $3, which is usually my price limit!  You can see a pretty good list of some of the Junior Elf books here and here is some of my collection-

    1. Oh maybe we could do some sort of trade! Anything you've been looking for? I happen to have a good eye and am a regular at the local thrift shops!

    2. A trade sounds good! I have some other books here that I really had no business buying, what others are you interested in? Maybe we should exchange emails and I could send you a pic and you can pick, I'd hate to send a duplicate?

I collect Eloise Wilkin illustrated LGB's and also older Christmas books - I have about 25 Eloise books and probably as many Christmas!

    3. Sounds like you have quite the collection! I have quite a few Christmas books, but only one or two Eloise Wilkin books. My email is mollyeallen@gmail.com. I have no shortage of items in this big old house of mine, so I would so be up for a fun trade!
